Ryan is a member of HMB’s Real Estate Group and focuses his practice on all aspects of buying, selling, leasing and financing commercial real estate. He also represents companies and entrepreneurs in the cannabis industry.
Ryan represents commercial property owners, property management companies, developers, investors, lenders, borrowers, landlords and tenants in a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing and leasing. Working with developers and entrepreneurs in the cannabis industry, Ryan partners with license holders, as well as applicants, to navigate the complex legal challenges presented by the licensing process and requirements. He also works with license holders to purchase, lease and sell commercial real estate for their cannabis business.
While earning his law degree, Ryan completed a judicial externship in the Circuit Court of Cook County. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and has a strong understanding of the financial aspects of real estate transactions.
