Eric is a partner in HMB’s Real Estate Group. He focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, helping clients to buy, sell, develop, lease and finance all types of property.
With over two decades of experience, Eric helps clients make and implement smart business decisions on a broad range of real estate transactions and finance matters. He works with entrepreneurs, leaders of public and privately held companies, banks, lenders, funds, executives, investor groups and family offices.

In addition to negotiating and drafting purchase, sale and lease agreements, Eric advises on corporate governance matters related to business formation, day-to-day operations and disputes. He also advises on tax matters related to real estate financing and negotiates and drafts all related loan documents.
Prior to joining HMB, Eric served as associate general counsel to one of the largest retail real estate companies in the United States where he was responsible for representing landlord’s interest in leasing and other corporate matters related to one of the world’s largest consumer electronic device manufacturers. In previous roles, he served as regional counsel to the largest restaurant owner-operator in the world, where he helped companies buy and develop franchised stores, and as senior counsel to an international manufacturer of tires and diversified products, where he was responsible for the acquisition, development and leasing of office, retail and warehouse distribution centers.
