Dan is a member of HMB’s Litigation Group. He focuses his practice on bankruptcy matters and general commercial litigation.
Dan represents businesses, creditors and bankruptcy committees in insolvency, restructuring and recovery matters.
Prior to joining HMB, Dan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jack B. Schmetterer of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. As a judicial clerk, Dan prepared memoranda for the court on complex and novel litigation and bankruptcy issues in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 cases.
While in law school, Dan was a Student Clinician in Michigan State’s Civil Rights Clinic. As a Clinician, he conducted discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations and trial preparation.
