Christopher is a member of HMB’s Business & Finance Group and focuses his practice on general corporate matters and transactions.
Representing businesses in all lifecycle stages, Christopher partners with business entities and professional investors on transactions, joint ventures, venture financings, traditional private equity financings and other alternative investments. He counsels clients on corporate governance, asset protection, intellectual property licensing, business partnerships and day-to-day operations.
Christopher has worked with a wide variety of private equity sponsors supporting all aspects of their business activities. With a deep understanding of federal and state banking and financial regulations, he also works with entrepreneurs, start-ups and mid-sized companies on financings ranging from start-up to early and late stages.
Working with information technology companies, including SaaS and PaaS providers, Christopher negotiates and drafts licensing and master services agreements for providers and users of hosted services. He also prepares GDRP and CCPA compliance policies, preparing website terms and conditions, privacy policies and shopping cart provisions, as well as negotiating and drafting technology transfer agreements.
