HMB is thrilled to welcome Caitlyn and Emily into its Fall 2021 Law Clerk Program! Many HMB attorneys, including partners, started out in this program. Law Clerks are given the opportunity to explore the firm’s practice areas while collaborating with Associates and Partners. Only law students in the top 30% of their class with at least one year in law school are accepted into HMB’s Law Clerk Program. Candidates must be driven to provide a better client experience and motivated to make a difference by problem-solving. Caitlyn and Emily will develop their skills and legal knowledge throughout HMB’s practices and grow their professional network.
Caitlyn Bunker
Caitlyn is currently enrolled at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law and earned her undergraduate degree in Criminology, Law and Justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is interested in Trusts and Estates and Real Estate and is a Staff Editor at UIC’s John Marshall Law Review. Caitlyn previously worked as a paralegal for a personal injury law firm while attending law school and served as the Evening Student Representative and Evening Student Liaison for UIC’s Student Bar Association.
Emily Salomone
Emily is currently enrolled at the Chicago-Kent College of Law and earned her undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from North Central College. She is interested in Corporate Law and is a member of Chicago-Kent’s Trial Advocacy Team, Women in Law Society and Federal Health Litigation Clinic. Emily also serves as a student mentor at Chicago-Kent and as a judge for undergraduate Mock Trial competitions.
