HMB congratulates Svoboda Capital Partners LLC (“SC”) on its investment exit in Clarion Healthcare, LLC (“Clarion”), which has been acquired by Lumanity, LLC (“Lumanity”), a global leader in accelerating and optimizing patient access to medical advances. SC and the Clarion management team will retain an ongoing minority equity stake in Lumanity.
Clarion, founded in 2003 and based in Boston, MA, provides strategic and organizational consulting services to life sciences companies. Clarion serves clients spanning the size spectrum – from leading global enterprises to emerging firms seeking to commercialize their first asset.
Founded in 1998, SC is a Chicago-based private equity firm that identifies, invests in and helps build excellent businesses in its targeted business niches: business services and value-added distribution.
SC originally recapitalized Clarion in partnership with management in October 2020. “On behalf of SC, it has been a pleasure to work with the Clarion team and help them in their efforts to become a best-in-class life sciences strategy and organizational consultancy,” said Will King, Vice President at Svoboda Capital Partners. “We are proud of our affiliation with an incredible organization, and we look forward to following Clarion’s success as part of Lumanity.”
Svoboda Capital Partners was represented by Jeffrey A. Hechtman, Brett M. Winterstein, Elise Anderson, Ryan T. Kelley and Kynat Akram.
