Jordan is a member of HMB’s Business and Finance Group and splits his practice between transactional and general corporate matters.
Jordan partners with a range of clients including private equity funds, privately held companies, multigenerational family owned businesses, financial institutions and other lenders. He regularly advises on mergers and acquisitions, business formation, corporate governance, shareholder matters, management issues and taxation.
Read MoreAs a key member of their deal team, Jordan assists clients and helps drive the deal from strategy to closing. He negotiates and drafts all agreements including asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, buy-sell agreements, LLC operating agreements and partnership agreements. Jordan also advises on third-party contracts, corporate bylaws, articles of dissolution and non-competition and non-disclosure agreements as well as day-to-day operations.
Jordan studied future foreign investment, trade and business transactions in Havana, Cuba, and traveled to Madrid, Spain to study European human rights law, international and European business and commercial law. He was awarded a certificate from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, a university internationally ranked among the world’s best universities. In addition to his corporate practice, Jordan is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois.
