HMB would like to congratulate Bully Pulpit Interactive (“BPI”), a strategic communications and public affairs agency, on its investment from Broad Sky Partners, a private equity firm that partners with leading middle-market business services and consumer companies.
Named Global Public Affairs Agency of the Year by Provoke Media for two years running, BPI is an outcomes agency at the intersection of business, politics and policy. BPI offers fully integrated marketing and communications services to a range of clients, including Fortune 100 brands, advocacy groups, philanthropies and campaigns.
Based in New York City, Broad Sky Partners is a private equity firm that works with leading business services and consumer companies in the middle market. The firm offers a differentiated approach to sector-focused, thematic investing and value creation. BPI’s previous lead sponsor was Svoboda Capital Partners, LLC (“SC”), a Chicago-based private equity firm and long-time client of HMB. The public affairs agency partnered with SC seven years ago and will continue its investor relationship as a minority investor in BPI’s next chapter.
Through this partnership, BPI will expand its services base and enter new markets organically through mergers and acquisitions by utilizing Broad Sky’s network, industry expertise and robust value creation capabilities. The investment will also support further development of proprietary platforms to measure impact and the growth of BPI’s employee base as the agency continues to build momentum on its industry-leading talent advantage.
Bully Pulpit Interactive was represented by Jeffrey A. Hechtman, Brett M. Winterstein, Elise Anderson, Ryan T. Kelly and Kynat Akram.
