Kate is a member of HMB’s Litigation Group and concentrates her practice on commercial and employment litigation for privately-held companies and entrepreneurs.
Kate represents businesses and their owners involved in various disputes in both state and federal courts. These disputes include the enforcement of restrictive covenants, employment discrimination, shareholder derivative suits, consumer fraud actions and breaches of fiduciary duty. Kate also counsels clients in employment-related matters. Prior to joining HMB, Kate worked for a national law firm headquartered in Chicago, where she devoted her practice to consumer financial services and class action litigation.
